Wake Up & Rest….It’s Spring!

We have to believe it!  Therefore, we have to expect the best will come back.  Spring is my favorite season, it’s not too cold, it’s not too hot, and new beauty is all around. Things are new again, new leaves, new flowers, fresh new air.  I was born on Earth Day, and my family is Creek Indian.  (Go figure)  Every time I’m out, I have to take pictures.  Not to mention, Fort Worth has some of the most beautiful attractions.  The picture of the river above is from Trinity Rivers Trail my favorite spot to exercise and even just get away to meditate; just awesome.  My son asked me the other day for a good spot to meditate, and I sent him straight to Trinity River; the attraction to the natural life runs in the blood.  But, just like that river, life is ever-flowing.  The cactus sat alone and is placed almost random on the banks of the river, but it spoke to me and reminded me of God’s word.  The goodness of God is evident in our lives.  He speaks to us through His beauty of nature; take a moment to listen.  On this particular day, He said I have supplied all that you need.  What I do in and through you is never wasted, He is the MASTER OF RECYCLING.  We all go through periods where we feel like we’re alone and need answers, but God says no; I will be with you in the wilderness and even give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.  Be encouraged!  Isaiah 43;18-19 says: remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold (look, pay attention, focus, take a picture it’ll last longer) I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.  Isn’t that EXCITING!
